🌎 Cultural Assemblies Interest Form

At Fairburn, we are proud to celebrate the diversity of our school community by introducing family traditions, cultures, and experiences to our student body. These celebrations enrich student learning, foster a sense of belonging, and honor the unique backgrounds and traditions that make Fairburn special. We are seeking parent volunteers to help organize school-wide cultural heritage assemblies throughout the year. 

  • These assemblies are typically 20–25 minutes and take place during a Monday (or Friday) morning school assembly. Presentations are designed to educate and inspire our elementary students and may include a student group presentation, setting-up decor and/or displays, music, dance, traditional clothing, language, or other traditions appropriate for a school-wide audience. 
  • Volunteer(s) will collaborate with a Fairburn teacher and/or Principal Patterson to plan the assembly, and funding may be provided by FAB subject to approval.
